This weeks show -

Scenario #1 : I'm lav'ing a client at FOH, client's buddy comes up & says "hey are you running this sound board thing? Boy, have you come down in the world!"

Scenario #2 : Looking for a lav mic after the morning session. "Excuse me Mr. Client do you have your wireless microphone?" "Oh no I gave it to Steve, he's in a breakout session upstairs later and needs one for his presentation!"

Sounds all too familiar to me. We had a group trip going to a foreign country, and they really wanted a "battery powered microphone", but insisted that they didn't want to have to lug around a speaker. I told them that I could certainly give them a battery powered mic with a built in speaker, but that they probably wouldn't like it. Smile

Well, theres always the client who when the power in the entire building goes out, wants to know why the wireless mics won't work!
