Our 4 LAB subs have a rattle in them when being driven hard. Our current theory is that some of the sonotube in the first turn has come loose, but we have no way to get in there and look at it. I don't think it is an air leak because we would have blown them up by now.
If you are less than about 5ft from the subs you can hear the rattle, as you get away (20ft to 200ft) you can no longer hear it.
They are generating a TON of bass, just for those people near the front it gets annoying.
No casters, All drivers secure, All cables stapled down, Some of the cabs are worse than others, Crest9200 power.
I know this is kind of ambiguous, but maybe someone has some advice?

If you are in fact hearing a rattle in the LABsubs it could be very bad...Make sure you don't have any leaks in the chamber, or plate gasket. I'd then remove the drivers and inspect them. Check the surrounds and insure they are ok and have no marks or tears. Over excrusion will tear the the surrounds. If it's the front switchback you should be able to listen the cabinet with headphones and a highly directional mic close proximity and localize the sound. I assume... the amp/s are NOT clipping?
