| As I pointed out earlier, this is a live sound forum. As a rule the people who participate here are not involved in recording studio design, or even usually use. I thought I pointed you in the right direction earlier, but you seem determined to ask the wrong people. Would you go to a car related forum to ask about guitars?

Then I'd say that on stage in front of an audience can be a great place to record if the band is up to it and the technical issues work out. There's an energy to live recordings that simply doesn't exist on studio recordings.
