ALl the other loudspeakers were facing the people. It is in a speech-special effects playback type situation. No reverb added.
It is an interesting thought, to achieve a more "diffuse" reverb sound, but I think that line of thinking would be well above the above system design. Can I have some more talent in the monitors--PLEASE?

Was it near a bar, POS terminal hostess station or phone? Many times the crew will turn around or block off offending speakers that interfere with their daily (already annoying enough) job. Especially if its the same playlist over-and-over!

I just saw a similar "install" where some EV SXA250's were put in a small 100 cap room with about a 15' ceiling, each box placed almost at the ceiling, with NO downward angle whatsoever. 4 boxes in opposing corners of the room just firing sound at each other instead of the patrons. To say it sounded rubbish is an understatement.
At least in Ivan's case it wasn't the entire system hung like that.....
