Can some of you share your methods of how or what you use to establish your degree angles in the real world? For example, outdoors when the specs call for the speaker to be installed at -68H and -21V. I can use Autocad to determine the angles on paper but using an ordinary compass outdoors doesn't seem to be acurate enough. We use an inclin-ometer (spelling?) for the verticle, but would like to hear suggestoions for the horizontal.
Thanks

So your saying you guys use a compass to find 0 degrees and then use a protractor? I figured you might use a cool, high tech tool, like surveyors use or something.

I've used a small level with a protractor. A Compass?
Hammer.
Be prepared, you'll need it!

Yes, I use a compass to find 0 degrees, then I can aim the speaker at the desired position the consultants specs call for. This is only for the horizontal postion when we your dealing with multiple speakers mounted to a light pole splayed all over the place. The Verticle is the easy part.
for example.
