Hey all --
Just tossing this out there ---
Let's discuss specifically what topics you want covered at this years seminars.
Given some past feedback -- this is what I am hearing
System Tuning Techniques
Sub Woofer Alignment
Dealing With Multiple Sources
Digital Console Management
What do you think??? Anything else we should cover or that you all would see as a must??

Good troubleshooting technique! I spent 3 months of my Cisco certification learning how to troubleshoot well, knowledge that is absolutely invaluable in the Live Sound world, and something that many engineers are lacking. When something goes wrong, where do you look first? Or do you stand there looking panicked (OK, we've all done that).

Hi David,
Yeah this is certainly covered --
I discuss when you can and cannot solve a problem with EQ --
When to wear your "artist" ears vs. your "scientist" ears ---
System EQ vs. Source EQ vs. Mix EQ ---
Hopefully your answer will come from those discussions ---
Yeah?
Robert

In addition to the already mentioned topics, I'd like to dive into..
1) Compression techniques. Low ratios with lots of gain reduction VS. high ratios with less gain reduction, gain makeup and noise floor issues, etc..
2) Reverb usage. When to use it, tips on selecting an appropriate reverb type, EQing & tailoring it to the venue, etc..
3) Backline alignment. When should we use it? How much is too much? Tape measure or Smaart? etc..
I'm sure there's more but that's all that came to mind right now.
